Blenheim Palace is a magnificent stately home and UNESCO World Heritage Site, built in the early 18th century as a gift from the nation to John Churchill in recognition of his victory at the Battle of Blenheim. Designed by architect Sir John Vanbrugh, the Palace is one of the finest examples of English Baroque architecture. It has remained the seat of the Dukes of Marlborough ever since and is also famously the birthplace of Winston Churchill in 1874, combining rich political history with grand architecture and landscaped parkland
