Begin in the medieval village of Dunster, with its cobbled streets, historic buildings, and the famous Yarn Market set beneath the backdrop of Dunster Castle. Later, continue to the traditional seaside resort of Minehead, where you can stroll along the promenade, explore the harbour area, browse the shops, or relax with lunch in one of the many cafés overlooking the coast.

 

 

 

Accessibility

The seaside town has a mostly flat promenade and town centre, making it easy to explore, while Dunster is more compact with some cobbled streets and slopes which may be uneven in places. Dunster Castle has steps with steep routes & uneven surfaces.

Minehead is a classic seaside town on the edge of Exmoor, offering sandy beaches, a charming promenade, and stunning coastal views. Minehead also serves as a gateway to Exmoor National Park, making it ideal for hiking, wildlife spotting, and exploring rolling hills and wooded valleys.
