Join us for a leisurely shopping day in South Devon, combining the traditional market town of Newton Abbot with the ever-popular Trago Mills. Our first stop is Newton Abbot, a lively market town with a long history as a centre for shopping and trading. There will be free time to explore the town centre, browse the market stalls and discover a good selection of high street and independent shops. With plenty of cafés and eateries to choose from, there’s also time to stop for a coffee or an early lunch before we continue our day.
We then make the short journey to Trago Mills, a unique shopping and leisure destination set within extensive grounds on the edge of Dartmoor. Famous for its enormous choice and competitive prices, Trago offers a wide variety of departments including home and garden, furniture, clothing and footwear, gifts, electricals, DIY, household goods and much more.
Take your time browsing for a bargain, visit the extensive garden centre or simply relax with refreshments at one of the on-site cafés. With such a wide variety under one roof and plenty to discover around the site, there is something to interest everyone.
Combining the atmosphere of a traditional Devon market town with an afternoon at one of the South West’s best-known shopping destinations, this makes for a relaxed and varied day out.
